1.75in Coiled Tubing Eccentric Guide Takeoff Tool

Deep & ultra-deep wells widely use variable-diameter tubing strings, large tubing uphole tapering to smaller sizes downhole. Coiled tubing’s natural bend makes standard tools get stuck at diameter shoulders, hurting intervention efficiency.

We developed the 1.75in Eccentric Guide Takeoff Tool to eliminate this run-in resistance. It combines an upper telescopic unit and bottom eccentric guide shoe. While running in, the shoe hugs tubing walls and moves down smoothly.When blocked by tubing shoulders, pump pressure or pulse flow retracts the telescopic assembly. The guide shoe spins to center the string, guiding the whole tool through the step into small lower tubing.Field tested across CNPC and Iraq deep wells, it reliably clears run-in blockages and boosts operation success, efficiency and safety for complex well interventions.
