The kelly valve can be opened or closed at the surface through the use ofan allen wrench. By sliding a locking plate to allow a wrench to be insertedinto the ball key, the locking slot can be rotated into the horizontal orvertical position. When both balls have been turned into the open position,pressure can be bled off via the bleed screws and balls.

Feature

Alocking feature is incorporated in the design to hold the balls securely in theopen position when run into the wellbore.
